3 things I’m passionate about?

Baking (Remember, passion does not guarantee success. Now go ahead and make that the quote of your day.)

Threading- My eyebrows. If I don’t, the jungles start to make me feel sick.

6 things I want to do before I die?

Ahem. Can you please ask this question when I’m 67?

On second thought, what if a hailstone lands on my head tomorrow and I’m rendered incapable of thinking this through?

Bungee jump- The husband has forbidden me from taking the plunge. What if your head strikes a rock below and you become paralyzed for life, he says, I don’t want to be stuck with you for your stupidity (how he affectionately refers to my ‘flair for adventure’) .

Visit Jammu and Kashmir- And spend a few nights on a shikara.

Open a restaurant.

8 things I say often?

Time flies!

Yeah, right!

I’m such an idiot.

That is so beautiful!

8 songs I could listen to over and over?

The Corrs’ Only when I sleep.

Oru Maalai from Ghajini.

Barso re from Guru.

The Corrs’ Old Town.

Yun hi chala from Swades.

Sacred Chants.

Sagarika’s Maa.

Kabhi kabhi Aditi from Jaana tu ya jaane na. (That’s what comes out of doing this so late.)

Things that attract me to my friends?

Ask them.

8 books I’ve read recently?

RK Narayan’s Mr. Sampath: The printer of Malgudi.

John Perkins’ Confessions of an economic hitman.

Anita Desai’s Fasting, feasting.

Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner.

Raja Airey’s 50 natural ways to relieve a cold (Preferred this to some others on the list.)

The brief and frightening reign of Phil by George Saunders.

Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion.

Yann Martel’s Life of Pi.

Hello, GDS! Remember this tag? (It’s only half-a-year late. Yes, I checked.)
